August 26, 2005 Clark swept me off my feet! 4 Yrs holy cow!

4th of July! Tanner, Emma and Lily!

I finally went and got some elastics small enough and put Lily's hair in Piggy's! 2 months old!

Paints tongue got infected again! We go to Primarys on the 31st to get his surgery done and hopefully it will cut down the amount of 'infections' he gets!

Played with the Jensen kids! Painter loved the sweet little barn that Nick build for the sand box!

Painter got a big boy bed! He did really good and first and now he likes to come in at night and say "Hi dad, chocolate milk!?" Not so cute at 3 in the morning!

Lily Mae Hill...
We went into the hospital at 8ish on June 17th and they started me on PIT, and I was at a 3. My midwife broke my water at 12:30 and I was at a 3, then at 1:30 I FINALLY got my epidural, and I felt like i needed to push and I was at a 7, then about ten minute later I said I really am feeling pressure and I was at a 9, they called my midwife back she got there about 2:45- 3:00 and I had Lily at 3:13! She was 7Lbs 4oz and was 19 inches long! I pushed for maybe 10 minutes! It was wonderful! She was posterior, which made my hips go all wacky after and it bruised her face alittle but other than that it was great! She is such a GOOD BABY! She wakes up one to two times a night and only fusses when she is hungry or has a bubble in her belly! We are lucky to have her and Painter is finally getting use to the thought of someone stealing his thunder! She was one month old yesterday and we have LOVED every minute!

Right after she was born they put her in my gown with me and I held and nursed her for about an hour and then they took and bathed her! That was a great experience!

Good News

So I had one of my doctor appointments today. In talking to my midwife she said it was up to me if I would like to be checked today or not. I said sure, nothing is probably going on but why not! So she checked me and good news I am dilated to a 3 and 70% effaced, which totally surprised me! We scheduled me to be started on the 17, and if I decide not to I can just cancel it, but I must say it is nice to see an end in sight! So now the real fun begins, acupressure, walking at high rates of speed for a prego women, heavy cleaning, making bread(kneading it works for some), and all those other things to help get me going! Sure I could sit at a 3 for the next 18 days or I could go in the next few day!~An answer to prayer!~ Either way it was a good day at the doctor to know that we are moving in a direction! It does explain the 3-4 hours of "contractions/ braxton hicks" I have been having every morning for the last while! All I can say is I am SUPER HAPPY!

So I have not had Painters pictures taken FOREVER! So the weekend of his birthday Jenny my fabulous sis came up and took some pictures for us! Need I say AMAZING! She is super talented and loves what she does, she is also super patient with little people!

Anyone up for an Update?

Reeds cows are having babies and Painter thinks it is the funnest thing ever! This was the first baby of the year and Painter thinks its his!


Favorite pass time at Grama Nichols... walk around with a bowl or Amber's laundry basket on his head!


So we don't get that many visitors here in Chester, so Mr. and Mrs. Robin decided to build a nest on the front door decor!


Some one turned TWO! I cant believe that I have a 2 year old! It was a fun day, we had family and friends over for a BBQ and cake! It was super fun and its nice to have family close by!
